ARABICA

High on the misty slopes of Mt Elgon, where cool mountain air meets rich volcanic soil, our Arabica coffee flourishes. These beans have a special story-they journeyed here from Ethiopia centuries ago and found their perfect home in our highland sanctuary.

Arabica coffee is mainly grown on the mountainsides of Mt. Elgon in Eastern Uganda, Mt. Rwenzori in the West, and Mt. Muhabura in the South West(Kisoro). The majority of Arabica is grown on the slopes of the volcanic Mount Elgon, *the largest free-standing volcano in the world.*

Every bean is a testament to patience and place. Growing slowly in the mountain air above 1,200 meters, they develop complex layers of flavor-bright morning citrus notes dancing with delicate floral whispers and smooth chocolate undertones. Our farmers tend these trees with generations of knowledge, hand-picking only the ripest cherries.

Whether you choose our prized Nyasaland variety or other mountain-grown Arabicas, each cup carries the essence of Mt. Elgon’s pristine heights. It’s more than coffee-it’s liquid sunshine captured in your cup.

Ugandan Arabica Coffee is characterized by: Dried Fruit, Chocolatey, Spicy, Herby, and/or Citrus Fragrance; Dried fruit, and/ or citrus Aroma; Dried fruit Flavors; Body and/or Acidity Tastes and Citrus Aftertaste.
